Batyr AI

Batyr AI is one of the projects I most want to build. The idea is a simple chatbot that can answer questions about my projects, experience, interests, and knowledge, while also helping visitors find the right part of the website.

Instead of making someone search through every page, it could answer a direct question, explain how a project works, or point to the relevant case study.

I plan to connect an affordable open-model API to a retrieval layer containing information I have reviewed and chosen to share. That is more honest and maintainable than claiming to train a model from scratch, and it gives me control over what the assistant is allowed to know.

The service should be available around the clock on my own infrastructure, with clear boundaries for personal data and simple fallbacks when the model cannot answer.

The first useful version will focus on navigation and questions about the work already published here. Once that is reliable, I can explore richer tools and more personal knowledge sources without making the assistant larger than it needs to be.

I will use this page as the build log when development starts.
